Three decades of roofs, still owner-run
Kincaide began in 1995 as a family roofing business in Metro Detroit, and more than 30 years later it still is one. We work across Wayne, Oakland and Macomb counties, and Farmington Hills, on the line between Oakland and Wayne, sits squarely in the area we serve.
Scott, the owner, is on the job. He walks your roof before anything is quoted, explains what he sees in plain terms, and stays the person you talk to when something comes up. The crew photographs every step: the old roof, the decking underneath, any problem found along the way and the finished work. If we uncover soft wood or an old leak, you see it before we go further.
The rest are habits we don’t skip. Boards protect your brick, siding and landscaping. The yard is cleaned every day, not just at the end. A dumpster is included. And before the crew leaves each evening, you get a short briefing on what was done and what is next.
In Farmington Hills that also means knowing older homes: layered roofs, tired attic ventilation, big trees over the house and long Michigan winters. Our slogan says it plainly: the proof is in the roof.
